Who can attend?

In a nutshell:

If you work for a long-term care facility or their corporate/regional leadership teams - you may attend our entire event as a "facility-based attendee".

If you are a business/vendor of goods and services that support long-term care facilities, you MUST be registered as an exhibitor to attend the Trade Show. There is an additional fee for exhibitors to attend the educational sessions.

Will I earn CEUs?

5.o CEUs are available through the day. To earn CEUs, attendees must attend and be engaged in the entirety of an educational session and complete an electronic evaluation at the end of each session. CEUs are distributed for each individual session. CEUs are issued from the NHHCA, following regulations related to the NH Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators. CEUs will be distributed electronically AFTER the event.

Will there be food? What about food allergies/dietary restrictions?

A light breakfast will be available in the morning and Lunch will be served during the Trade Show. We do our best to have a varied menu which meets all needs from vegetarian to carnivore, gluten-free to carb-loaded. If you have questions or special dietary requests, please email kschmidt@nhhca.org (Subject line: EVENT FOOD REQUEST)and let me know so that I can attempt to meet your needs.

Will there an event app?

There will be an online event-specific, mobile-friendly website available for attendees at the event. This site will contain educational program descriptions, handouts (if provided), exhibitor information, and links to evaluations for breakout sessions. Please prepare to use this site throughout the day to get where you need to go! Website links will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the event and there will be reminders and links available at the event.

Will there be handouts or printed slides?

Printed slides will not be available at the event. We will post all presenter programs (that we have received) prior to the event so that attendees can download or print prior to the program if they wish. Emails with a link to the event website will be sent to registered attendees prior to the event.

What should I wear?

Business casual and professional attire is encouraged. There will be a headshot booth available so if you want to get a headshot, please carefully consider your attire.

Please remember that we do our best to keep the temperatures at the event as comfortable as possible. But one person's "frigid" is another person's "sweltering" so we suggest dressing in layers so that you will be comfortable despite the temperature.

If I cannot come, can I cancel?

Cancellations MUST be received via email to kschmidt@nhhca.org (Subject line: EVENT CANCELLATION) 10 business days before the event, as we have to provide guaranteed minimums to the hotel. If you can no longer attend, you may send another attendee from your organization in your place at no additional charge. Substitutions accepted to kschmidt@nhhca.org (Subject line: EVENT SUBSTITUTION) until 6/8/26 at 12:00n. After this time, substitutions will need to be done in-person at the event.

The only reason we will issue a refund after the 10-business days is if a Surveyor Team will be at your facility on the day of the event. If you have questions regarding this policy, please call Kristen at (603) 226-4900.
