Many of us by now have seen the term "mindfulness" in the news. Why so much attention? There's a growing body of research around cultivating the simple capacity to attend to your lived experience, moment by moment. Training the mind has been shown to help people shed unconscious patterns of stress and enliven previously untapped inner resources of intelligence and energy. Find out why businesses as diverse as Google, the U.S. Marines and Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare are using mindfulness at work to great effect. We'll look at some of the recent science and most importantly, we'll practice some mindfulness exercises you can use to give yourself what researcher Chris Liddy calls the "human mind 2.0 upgrade."
